摘要: Abstract We have examined the role of phospholipase A activity intact rabbit granulocytes in turnover endogenous lecithin and degradation ingested Escherichia coli . Granulocyte lecithin, labeled during preincubation cells with [ 32 P]lysolecithin, loses less than 20% its radioactivity 24 h at 37 °C. This slow rate is not altered phagocytosis. Exogenous phosphatidylethanolamine, a major phospholipid E. , readily degraded by granulocyte homogenates. The hydrolyzes mainly fatty acid 2-position (phospholipase 2 ). Activity maximal pH 7.5, requires Ca 2+ almost all sedimentable 8200 × g During phagocytosis phospholipids (B leu − ) are broken down to alimited extent (± 25%), suggesting that large portions envelope remain intact. hydrolyzed acids incorporated into lipids.
