摘要: Thumb-push manual pipettes are commonly used tools in many medical, biological, and chemical laboratories. Epidemiological studies indicate that the use of thumb-push mechanical is associated with musculoskeletal disorders hand. The goal current study was to evaluate kinematics joint loading thumb during pipetting. time-histories angles interface contact force between plunger pipetting action were determined experimentally, loadings power calculated via an inverse dynamic approach. moment, power, energy absorption each extraction dispensing actions analyzed. results majority generated interphalangeal (IP) carpometacarpal (CMC) joints for action. analysis method will be helpful exploring mechanism injuries hand pipetting, providing a preliminary foundation ergonomic design pipette.
