摘要: Most measured Mueller matrices tend to be slightly non physical due noise and calibration issues. Based on a simple white model and higher dimensional geometrical considerations, only 1 out of 90 for depolarizing sample should be physical, number given by the relation [equation] which describes ratio 9-dimensional solid angle inside 45° cone 9- dimensional in entire hypersphere. The remaining majority of measured would expected physical.
