摘要: • Historically, the ideal outcome of radical prostatectomy (RP) has been measured by achievement so-called 'trifecta', or concurrent attainment continence and potency with no evidence biochemical recurrence. However, in PSA era, younger healthier men are more frequently diagnosed prostate cancer. Such patients have higher expectations from advanced minimally invasive surgical technologies. Mere trifecta is longer an measure to meet demands such patients. Keeping limitations mind, we earlier proposed a new method outcomes analysis, called 'pentafecta', which adds early complications positive margins (PSMs) trifecta. We performed Medline search for articles reporting complications, PSM rates, continence, recurrence after robot-assisted RP. Related were selected individual reviewed.
