摘要: Abstract Muscarinic receptors play an important role in secretory and vasodilator responses rat salivary glands. Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) appears to be one of the multiple effectors coupled muscarinic both submandibular sublingual glands although some differences have been found depending on gland studied. First, had a lower basal activity nitric than concentration–response curve for carbachol was bell-shaped former but not Second, cGMP levels displayed similar profile that observed NOS Third, protein kinase C also receptor activation might regulatory effect production since its higher conditions it increased presence agonist at concentration inhibited The effects appear partly related expression minor population M 1 absent as determined binding signaling experiments with antagonist pirenzepine.
