摘要: The relationship between follicular lymphomas and diffuse of small-cleaved-cell type was investigated with the use a panel antibodies against B-cell differentiation antigens. Follicular lymphomas, regardless histologic subtype, were immunologically homogeneous: Ig+ B1+ B2+ CALLA+ Ia+. Two cases Ig-negative, 4 CALLA-negative. Diffuse (centrocytic) more heterogeneous. majority Ia+ T1+ CALLA-. A minority B2-negative, T1-negative, or CALLA-positive. An increased frequency Ig heavy chain class switching loss T1 antigen suggest that are at later stage than most centrocytic lymphomas. differences in immunologic phenotype provide further justification for classification distinguishes types. expression Ig, Ia, B1, B2 on neoplastic center cells correlates these antigens normal B cells. In addition, anti-B2 appears to stain nonlymphoid dendritic cell present germinal centers both this study. pattern similar follicles, while irregular seen. Dendritic staining seen nodal extranodal suggesting either migrate variety tissues.
