摘要: Several members of the FGF gene family have been shown to intervene from various tissue sources direct otic placode induction and vesicle formation. In this study we define roles FGF8, found in different expression domains during process, mice chickens. By conditional inactivation Fgf8 distinct compartments demonstrate that is required mesoderm endoderm early inner ear development. chicken embryo, overexpression specification leads a loss tissue. contrast ectopic Fgf10, major player murine induction, does not influence formation embryos but results structures with non-otic character. This underlines crucial role defined pattern controlling vertebrates.
