摘要: Two velogenic Newcastle disease viruses (NDV) obtained from outbreaks in domestic ducks China were characterized this study. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that both strains clustered with the class II viruses, one phylogenetically close to genotype VII NDVs and other closer IX. The deduced amino acid sequence of cleavage site fusion (F) protein confirmed isolates contained virulent motif 112RRQK/RRF117 at site. two had severe pathogenicity fully susceptible chickens, resulting 100% mortality. One also demonstrated some ducks. present study suggests more than NDV circulates viral transmission may occur among chickens
