摘要: Abstract Bi–MnBi composite has been directionally solidified to investigate the influence of a strong magnetic field on its microstructure, growth characteristics and properties. Experimental results show that MnBi eutectic fiber is aligned, regularized coarsened during directional solidification under an axial field. In particular, alignment irregular may offer new method prepare regular extend range uses such composite. It also found modified mode enhanced transition from non-faceted faceted. The distribution solute Mn in front at liquid–solid interface measured result shows enrichment fiber. Moreover, measurement reveals pronounced promotion anisotropy remanence (Br) Based these experimental results, simple theory ferromagnetic coarsening proposed.
