摘要: Technological advancements in the recovery and cultivation of deep-sea microorganisms have resulted isolation novel groups bacteria which are adapted to high pressure. From these collections a number new species been identified, including members genera Shewanella, Moritella, Photobacterium Colwellia Some isolates subjects investigations into pressure effects on gene, protein fatty acid regulation mechanisms baro (piezo) adaptation or sensing. Cytochrome bd assembly function appears be critical at least one Shewanella species, ToxR/S proteins required for pressure-responsive strain.
