摘要: Bioinformatics data is growing faster than exponentially. This large amount of has opened up many possibilities but it also poses challenges as a tedious task to manually analyze this data. 25% our genes translates to membrane proteins and they contain 60% the drug targets. A genetic variation can alter function protein, sometimes lead a disease. Knowing where in protein structure disease causing occurs will aid drug designers drug discovery process. MembraneLogic database that through its automated gathering process identifies the by prediction links them known SNPs their relation to disease. The uses comes from NCBI Ensembl PDB main method used identify SCAMPI. Its web interface provides functionality search for diseases and see what variations are related ,both sequence structure. The application implemented with JAVA platform tools frameworks such as Grails, Spring Hibernate.
