摘要: The liver is the most common site of distant organ metastasis in patients with colorectal carcinoma. Of 160,000 who develop carcinoma each year United States, half a recurrence at some point their lifetimes, being (70%). 1 Although we have developed better understanding molecular determinants that lead to cancer progression and metastasis, little progress has been made therapy for metastatic disease. Fewer than 10% can undergo potentially curative resection.2 Despite advances surgical technology imaging techniques, least resection suffer recurrence. Systemic chemotherapy from results only one-third obtaining partial response, complete responses anecdotal.3,4
