摘要: Upon obesity, adipose tissue is excessively expanded and characterized by pathologic processes like hypoxia, fibrosis, inflammation. Death ligands belonging to the TNF superfamily such as TNF-α are important contributors these derangements exert a pronounced influence on metabolic cellular homeostasis of tissue. Here, we sought identify effect death ligand TNF-related apoptosis-inducing (TRAIL) precursor cell pool therefore investigated its preadipocyte proliferation. Treatment human preadipocytes with TRAIL resulted in time- dose-dependent increase proliferation (EC50 3.4 ng/ml) comparable IGF-1.
