摘要: Mayaro virus (MAYV) is widely distributed throughout South America and the etiologic agent of fever, an acute febrile illness often presenting with arthralgic manifestations. The true incidence MAYV infection likely grossly underestimated because symptomatic presentation very similar to that dengue fever other tropical diseases. We report complete genome sequence a isolate detected from Acrelândia patient chills, sweating, but no arthralgia. Results show this belongs genotype D closely related Bolivian strains. Our results suggest Acre/Mayaro strain progenitor these strains were isolated between 2002 2006.
