Structured and graphitized boron doped diamond electrodes: Impact on electrochemical detection of Cd2+ and Pb2+ ions

摘要: Abstract Here we introduce the structuring of boron doped diamond (BDD) electrodes using a self-organised mask and reactive ion etching (RIE) in oxygen plasma for electrochemical measurements selected metal ions. The samples were analysed by SEM, Raman X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. performance structured BDD was compared to as-grown standard glassy carbon (GC) employing cyclic voltammetry differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry. Separate simultaneous detection Cd2+ Pb2+ ions is discussed relation electrode morphology content graphitic phase. To determine trace amounts evaluated repeatability measurements, which statistically expressed as relative deviation (RSD) consecutive determinations. Based on RSD data, most suitable candidate separate found consisting nanotips small nanorods, respectively. Two times better than electrode. Electrochemical provided complex mixture both revealed nanorods surface recognition
