摘要: Background The Wnt signaling pathway plays critical roles in cell proliferation and fate determination at many stages of development. A downstream target is the cytosolic β-catenin, which stabilized upon activation promotes transcription a variety genes including c-myc cyclin D. Aberrant signaling, results from mutations either β-catenin or adenomatous polyposis coli (APC), renders resistant to degradation, has been associated with multiple types human cancers.
