The Children’s Sleep Comic: Psychometrics of a Self-rating Instrument for Childhood Insomnia

摘要: The Children’s Sleep Comic is a standardized self-report questionnaire for assessing insomnia in children ages 5–11 years. goal of the present study to introduce revised version this measure and psychometrics cut-off score. Therefore, Comic, Self Report, Habits Questionnaire, Child Behavior Checklist were applied sample 393 their parents. Of parents who participated voluntarily, subsample (n = 176) was interviewed on phone diagnose with sleep disorders according International Classification Disorders, if applicable. results indicated that reliable self-rating instrument diagnosing childhood insomnia. Internal consistency α = 0.83; convergent divergent validity adequate. child-friendly format can foster good therapeutic relationship, thus establish basis successful intervention.
