摘要: This paper aims to identify and evaluate the landscape natural resource (traditional ecological knowledge) social values of marine coastal ecosystem services (MCESs) in Kyrenia (Girne) Region Northern Cyprus. To this end, objectives study were (1) key MCESs, (2) record assess major resources harvested as traditional knowledge. Participatory deliberative research techniques used uncover both value types. The data on knowledge obtained from stakeholders through 6 in-depth discussion groups 9 interviews. quantitative MCESs collected with a questionnaire designed. Within context; respondents scored importance five-point Likert scale. results showed that hold six MCESs: aesthetic, entertainment, life-sustaining, biodiversity, recreation, nutrition. However, total average relative degree was found be very low 1.71 points. Besides, it determined harvest 29 fishes 3 plant species ecosystems. relevant are important cultural heritage guiding principles, which should incorporated into management policies region elsewhere. A greater focus also given integrating identified assessment.
