摘要: The present investigation was conducted to assess the behavioral and electrophysiological impairments exhibited by adult male rats as a function of developmental stage during which lead exposure occurred. Dams were given either acetate (0.3%) or control drinking solution days 16-23 gestation, 1-8 9-16 nursing. temporal spatial activity patterns gestationally exposed offspring in open field between 42-45 age distinguished from all other groups absence decrement peripheral across increased exploration center field. Although proved sensitive timing exposure, power spectral analyses hippocampal cortical EEG at 70-72 revealed that selectively depressed 6-7 Hz energy hippocampus, independent exposure; theta frequencies unaffected. differential sensitivity select administration suggests identification toxic consequences depends on assessed
