摘要: Abstract 1. Plasma concentrations of cholesterol, cholesteryl esters, phospholipids and triglycerides were determined for ten species Brazilian lizards, Iguana iguana, Tropidurus torquatos T. semitaeniatus ( Iguanidae ), Tupinambis teguixin, Ameiva ameiva Cnemidophorus ocellifer Teiidae Mabuya maculata Scincidae Hemidactylus mabouia Gekkonidae Amphisbaenia vermicularis Leposternon polystegum Amphisbaenidae ). 2. Considerable inter- intra-species variations in plasma lipid observed. 3. The percentage total cholesterol esterified the individual phospholipid composition relatively constant each species. 4. Over 60% esters present from three iguanid teiid lizards polyenoic.
