摘要: The effect of sleep deprivation (40 h) on topographic and temporal aspects electroencephalographic (EEG) activity during was investigated by all night spectral analysis in six young volunteers. sleep-deprivation-induced increase EEG power density the delta theta frequencies (1-7 Hz) nonREM sleep, assessed along antero-posterior axis (midline: Fz, Cz, Pz, Oz), significantly larger more frontal derivations (Fz, Cz) than parietal (Pz, Oz). This frequency-specific predominance already present first 30 min recovery dissipated course 8-h episode. data demonstrate that enhancement slow wave following extended wakefulness is most pronounced cortical areas.
