摘要: Recent data demonstrate that in addition to its conduit function, the blood vessel is an active synthetic and secretory organ containing several autocrine paracrine systems are involved with local regulation of own function (i.e., structure growth). The endothelium secretes vasorelaxant vasoconstrictive substances, growth factors inflammatory mediators exert influences on vascular myocyte function. also expresses substances influence include angiotensin, prostaglandins, platelet-derived factor, insulin-like factor heparin. These modulatory contractility growth. serve as adaptive mechanism by which vasculature autoregulates structural functional state. We speculate alteration this delicate balance these factors, due genetic or acquired abnormalities, can result increased tone hypertrophy thereby contribute pathogenesis hypertension.
