摘要: The postsurgical stability of two groups patients treated with different fixation techniques after mandibular advancement was evaluated retrospectively. Sixteen (group 1) underwent rigid osseous fixation, and another group 16 2) intraosseous wiring fixation. Our findings suggested that skeletal dental changes occurred in both as a result adaptation to the altered functional equilibrium. Relapse resulting percentage loss initial primarily 6 8 weeks postsurgically. No statistically significant difference found exist short-term long-term rates between groups. For population studied, relative surgery affected more by individual variability than technique.
