摘要: The effect of a single oral dose propanolol 80 mg, dilevalol 200 salbutamol 4 and placebo on the systolic (BPs), diastolic blood (BPd), intraocular pressure (IOP), retinal vessel diameter (D), velocity (Vmax) volumetric flow (RBF), was measured at baseline, 90 minutes three hours after administration in normotensive diabetic volunteers. These drugs were chosen to demonstrate range beta receptor activity. Propanolol is non-specific blocker, affecting 1 2 receptors, has antagonist agonist effects effects. Retinal by bidirectional laser Doppler velocimetry (BLDV) red free photography. Dilevalol reduced mean BPs 10.4 mmHg (SD 4.2, P less than 0.05), BPd 7 3.8, whereas propanolol, had no significant effect. 4.88 1.8, 0.01). No treatment perfusion pressure. In all treatments remained unchanged, there difference between treatments. mechanisms action these are analysed possible implications their use patients with disease discussed.
