摘要: The effect of interference fits on the fatigue lives bolted composite joints is investigated by conducting mechanical tests. Static and tests are carried out specimens made carbon-bismaleimide composites joined together as double-lap single-bolt joints. bolts having ranging 0 (neat fit), 0.5%, 0.75% 1% performed. results demonstrate relationship between life different values fits. After tests, non-destructive evaluation (NDE) scanning electron microscope (SEM) used to observe damage surrender surface hole. test show that fitted have improved compared neat specimen. NDE SEM reveal degree specimen weaker than for one.
