摘要: The stress distribution surrounding the fastener hole in thick laminate mechanical joints is complex. It time-consuming to analyze using finite element method. To accurately and efficiently obtain state around multi-bolt joints, a global-local approach introduced. In method, most seriously damaged zone 3D modeled by taking displacement field got from 2D global model as boundary conditions. Through comparison analysis there are following findings: method reliable efficient way solve problem; quite uneven through-the-thickness direction, stresses of elements close shearing plane much higher than far away plane; out-of-plane introduced single-lap joint cannot be ignored due delamination failure; useful criterion for further more complex studies involving failure analysis.
