摘要: Bolted joints involving composite plates used to be almost entirely dedicated aerospace applications. As the need for energy conservation has increased, field of bolted found new applications in ground armoured vehicles. Thick panels able withstand large in-plane and impact loads are critical. The present investigation evaluates interior strain field, through thickness, a plate connected an aluminium panel with single-lap joint. area interest is bearing plane region close hole because presence stress concentrations that heavily modify field.
