摘要: Abstract The increasing interest of the industry (especially automotive, aviation and marine) in fastener joints (riveted, bolted, etc.) between metallic materials, has re-opened study on possibility to improve performance drilled structure using plastic deformation processes. Indentation process, performed before drilling operation, creates circumferential compression stresses around hole which increase significantly mechanical structures. In this paper, static fatigue performances aluminum–aluminum (AW 6082-T6) single-lap bolted are studied. particular, compares strength only (OD specimens) subject an indentation process (IP specimens). order determine cycles failure corresponding Wohler diagram, several tests performed. analyses allow mode analyzed joints. Several numerical analysis, conducted ANSYS environment three-dimensional models joint, focused evaluation residual stress indented plate and, compare distribution both type
