摘要: Abstract Since 1996 Late Pliocene ruminants have been excavated from sand deposits exposed along the Aliakmon River valley at Milia (Grevena, Western Macedonia, Greece). The Bovidae include five species: new large Bovini Grevenobos antiquus, Alephis sp., indet., Gazella borbonica, and Antilopinae Cervidae are less common Croizetoceros ramosus, Praeelaphus cf. lyra indet. association of G. borbonica, Cr. Homotherium Agriotherium Mammut borsoni, Anancus arvernensis, Tapirus arvernensis Stephanorhinus jeanvireti, Hipparion sp. (H. crassum group) Sus allows us to date this faunal assemblage transition between MN 15 16a. It is first time that such transitional documented in Europe.
