摘要: The authors analyse the effect of cross-phase modulation (XPM) on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) transmissions by experiments and numerical simulations, provide XPM limitation in a normalised closed form formula. They also investigate dispersion compensated transmissions. It is shown that location compensators amount compensation should be determined considering effect.
