摘要: Measurements of regional magnetic field during gravity, strain and leveling surveys near the San Andreas fault at Cajon, Palmdale Tejon are strongly correlated with changes in areal strain, uplift these regions period 1977-1984. This correlation principally depends on data taken 1978-79 1981-82 when episodes ‘Palmdale Uplift’ occurred this general region. Because inferred relationships between parameters approximate agreement those obtained from simple deformation models, preferred explanation appeals to short-term independently detected each set. Transfer functions perturbations, by least-square linear fits data, -0.98nT/ppm, -0.03nT/μGal, 9.1nT/m respectively. Tectonomagnetic model calculations underestimate observed reported previously for dam loading volcano-magnetic observations. A less likely alternative a common source meteorologically generated crustal or instrumental noise magnetic, data.
