Influence of electron–phonon interaction and crystal field on thermal and electrical resistivity in rare earth intermetallics

摘要: The thermal and electrical resistivity of f-electron cubic intermetallic metals with well localized stable f-shells are calculated as functions the temperature. interaction conduction electron both acoustic optical phonons exchange s–f crystal field presence taken into account by applying Matthiessen rule on microscopic level simple well-founded models scattering same mathematical method within Boltzmann equation approach. Derived analytical formulas successfully used to model existing measurements temperature dependence electric conductivity for DyIn3 TmIn3 in paramagnetic phase. Attention was drawn possible indeterminacy some material constants absence indications from sources other than transport measurements, noticeable our results TmIn3.
