摘要: The authors describe the pathophysiology of scorpion poisoning in animals, and clinical findings treatment children. They conclude that venom acts at peripheral nervous system, with release chemical mediators (e.g., acetylcholine catecholamines) part effects are reflex nature secondary to stimulation vagai afferent fibers. 168 children severely poisoned by Tityus serrulatus an Intensive Care Unit consisted symptomatic measures, support vital functions neutralization circulating venom. From 1972 1987 3860 adults were scorpions, a mortality rate 0.28%.
