摘要: This paper presents an experimental study on the seismic behavior of frame structures made with recycled aggregate concrete (RAC). Three 1:2 scaled specimens were tested under lateral cyclic loads and constant vertical load. One these frames was conventional frame, while remaining two RAC a coarse (RCA) replacement percentage 25 50%, respectively. The structural performances, in terms failure pattern mechanism, ultimate load capacity, hysteretic response, backbone curve, ductility energy dissipation capacity stiffness degradation analyzed detail. effect RCA performance investigated carefully. results indicate that is similar to not significantly affected by incorporation RCA. All behaved same pattern, which ductile mechanism. average value coefficient equivalent viscous damping ratio are 3.55 0.089, structure 50% still has adequate capabilities strength, deformation able withstand earthquake attack.
