摘要: Tinea imbricata is a chronic superficial mycosis caused by Trichophyton concentricum. It characterized widespread, annular, concentric, squamous lesions. endemic in three geographical areas: Southwest Pacific, Southeast Asia, and Central South America. travelers returning from areas exceptionally rare. We report case of tinea an Italian child who acquired the infection during trip to Solomon Islands. Three cultures were positive for T. The patient was successfully treated with griseofulvin terbinafine cream.
