摘要: As climate change impacts add to those from new introductions of forest insects and pathogens, tree species are increasingly at risk their distribution on the landscape will be heavily impacted. The United States Forest Service (FS) presents an integrated 8-step process for identifying conserving that most effects invasive pathogens. It uses maps, mapping, models, monitoring plots, genetic conservation techniques. first step is produce a fine resolution national map which show both current individual species, ecological successional context in they exist. Step two creates disturbance intensity combines projected natural fire processes, insect disease-caused mortality predictions, relative magnitude regional changes based global projections. three integrates conditions one with determine communities currently located areas high likelihood disturbance. In fourth step, we consider information concerning diversity significantly areas. fifth consists level analyses prioritize need zones. These developed previous steps, as well additional local factors not represented data sets. sixth what inventory plots ground priority areas, where significant gaps seventh designs applies supplemental efforts fill between existing systems needed management actions. final conduct ongoing analysis so measures can instituted important resources threatened risk. This paper describe each offered framework other nations consider. Key Words: protection, change, non-native monitoring,
