摘要: Abstract Elevated fuel loads are contributing to an increase in the occurrence of, and area burned by, severe wildfires many regions across globe. In attempt reverse this trend, fire land management agencies investing extensive programs. However, planning of treatment activities poses complicated decision-making problems with spatial temporal dimensions. Here, we present a mixed integer programming model for spatially explicit multi-period scheduling treatments. The provides flexible framework that allows landscape heterogeneity range ecological operational considerations constraints. model’s functionality is demonstrated on series hypothetical test landscapes number implementation issues discussed.
