摘要: Background Pancreatic Stone Protein (PSP) is a protein naturally produced mainly in the pancreas and gut. There evidence from experimental clinical trials that blood PSP levels rise presence of inflammation or infection. However, it not known whether superior to other established tests (e.g. White Blood Count, Neutrophils C - reactive protein) predicting appendicitis patients presenting with abdominal pain suspicion at emergency room.
