摘要: Background/aims The aim of the study is to evaluate correlation between c-erb-B2 and CD44 overexpression survival patients with gastric cancer. Methodology paraffin blocks 48 carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. pathological specimens stained by immunohistochemical methods. Results positivity was detected in 9 patients. In six them, predominantly strong cytoplasmic staining observed. remaining three tumors membranous stained. No found overall (OS). Seventeen (35.4%) positive, all localized cell membrane. median OS time positive worse than that negative (11 vs. 17 months, respectively). This difference statistically significant (p=0.03). 5 both as positive. However, there 23 negative. for cerb- B2 better those (37 11 respectively, p=0.03). relationship positivities clinicopathological factors (p>0.05). Conclusions Our results showed no OS, except CD44. addition, we association simultaneous alone can be taken a prognostic factor also may used marker poor prognosis.
