摘要: The development of gastric cancer (GC) is a complex multistep process, including numerous genetic and epigenetic changes. CD24 associated with enhanced invasiveness GC poor prognosis. However, the mechanism by which induces progression remains poorly characterized. Here, we found that expression gradually increased in samples normal mucosa, non-atrophic chronic gastritis, atrophic gastritis (CAG), CAG intestinal metaplasia, dysplasia GC. Moreover, knockdown induced significant levels apoptosis cells via mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. may also promote cellular invasion regulate E-cadherin, fibronectin vitamin D receptor cells. activation signal transducer activator transcription 3 (STAT3) mediate CD24-induced survival vitro. Furthermore, STAT3 could be detected vivo clinical tissues samples. Taken together, our results indicate mediates carcinogenesis suppressing promoting invasion, playing critical role.
