The ecovillage experience as an evidence base for national wellbeing strategies

摘要: Overarching policy objectives for national wellbeing are currently being developed by governments, replacing the objective of economic growth. Maximising quality people's lives, their happiness or subjective has, however, been conscious strategy ecovillages. With up to a half-century empirical experimentation, ecovillages offer an evidence base that can be utilised benefit wider society. In order facilitate research needed appropriate government policies deliver high level wellbeing, this paper attempts shed light on some twenty different elements—the common attitudes and practices ecovillages—which have allowed them succeed in endeavour. Further is suggested enable society focus process achieving higher sustainable development.
