摘要: National Family Health Survey (NFHS-2) data on womens autonomy and maternal careseeking from Maharashtra can be used to place the results of this small-scale survey into a larger context. This is particularly true since NFHS-2 which was conducted concurrently with in 1999 included sizeable subset respondents Mumbai slum locations. Using these it possible compare previous study Mumbai-wide representative nature autonomy/careseeking relationship between nonslum areas also see how differs situation rural areas. paper seeks examine slums using both data.
