摘要: Organ scans are generally performed on patients with bronchogenic carcinoma only when clinical evaluation is suspicious for metastases. However, it not clear whether the abnormalities will direct attention to single organ which should be scanned, or if all three organs (bone, brain, liver) evaluated any abnormality present. We investigated use of triple radionuclide scanning and computerized tomography (CT) brain in initial staging non-small cell no obvious Of 122 newly diagnosed lung cancer, 53 met our criteria further study. Thirty-three (62 percent) these had at least one suggestive metastasis. Bone detected metastases seven (21 head CT two additional (6 percent). Brain liver yield. In five nine did detectable Twenty (38 a negative routine evaluation, yet bone showed (15 concluded that specific may detected, so liver, brain) obtained there suspicion metastasis based history, physical examination, laboratory tests. The value clinically normal deserves
