摘要: The Drosophila light activated channel TRP is the founding member of a large and diverse family proteins that conserved throughout evolution. These channels are Ca2+-permeable have been implicated as important component cellular Ca2+ homeostasis in neuronal non-neuronal cells. power molecular genetics has yielded several mutants which constitutive activity leads to rapid retinal degeneration dark. Metabolic stress activates rapidly reversibly dark manner by still unknown mechanism. link gating metabolic state cell shared also mammalian homologues makes cells expressing extremely vulnerable stress, mechanism may underlie death.
