摘要: A single prolonged milking interval (PMI), such as might be associated with technical failures in automatic systems, leads to a subsequent somatic cell count (SCC) peak bulk tank milk. Increased SCC indicates mastitis cows. It is generally correlated reduced milk yield and quality, often used criterion for milk payment. Whether the transient peak after PMI affects quality is not known. The short duration of inflammatory reaction its nonpathological history raise questions about underlying immunological mechanisms and possible role immunocompetent natural components. important to learn more this kind physiological inflammation improve interpretation of general understanding udder immunology. This thesis investigated the 24 h at both cow quarter level, how it influences quality. The appeared induce temporarily impaired epithelial integrity but no epithelial damage. Even so,milk per was 0.75 kg/day the PMI, notably up 10 days studied. Thus, based on long-lasting reduction in yield possibly payment due peak, significant economic concern farmer although itself shown not be afflicted. The caused two-fold increase SCC, which then remained elevated 2 days an increased proportion polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN) most pronounced seen until the had been emptied once. initiation occurred first during the elicited systemic acute phase response serum amyloid (SAA), observed blood prior appearance showed consistently high chemotactic activity vitro, no content cytokines IL-1β and IL-8 detected. induced significant alterations α-lactalbumin (ALA) prolactin (PRL), relation PMN reaction. ALA inhibited PRL stimulated migration, when tested vitro. Based the findings thesis, probable that SAA played the inflammatory cannot excluded ALA might also have contributing factors.
