摘要: This thesis has assessed the viability of using Bayer precipitates, formed by seawater neutralization liquor residues, as an alternative reagent to treat acid mine drainage (AMD) water. precipitates were found out-performed commercially used alkali in removal heavy metals and a pH neutralizing for AMD waters. The robustness versatility treatment different waters makes them attractive commercial materials, especially they have potential reduce footprint both mining industries.
