摘要: In a new population-based, matched, case-control study from southern Sweden of 571 patients with first diagnosis cutaneous malignant melanoma, between 1995 and 1997, 913 healthy controls aged 16 to 80 years, the association sunscreen use melanoma was evaluated. The median sun protection factor (SPF) used by both cases 6, range 2 25. Sunscreen users reported greater exposure than non-users. Persons who sunscreens did not have decreased risk melanoma. Instead, significantly elevated odds ratio (OR) for developing after regular found, adjusted history sunburns, hair color, frequency sunbathing during summer, duration each occasion ?OR = 1.8, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.1-2.9]. OR higher in subjects that enabled them spend more time (adjusted 8.7, CI 1.0-75.8 always vs. never use). appeared hold suffer sunburns while using sunscreens, SPF 10 or lower, among men. pattern increased seen only lesions trunk. Our results are probably related mainly earlier low SPF. They substantiate hypothesis use, permitting sunbathing, is associated occurrence.
