摘要: Dopamine receptor antagonists have long been known to suppress food intake. The main purpose of the present series experiments was investigate feeding in rats across several paradigms evaluating effects selective dopamine D1 and D2 antagonists. antagonist, SCH 23390, reduced FR8 operant responding for (0.03mg/kg, s.c.) at a dose lower than that required reduce intake two free-feeding situations (0.1mg/kg, s.c.). YM 09151-2, had biphasic effect on food-deprived rats, increasing low (0.01mg/kg, i.p.), but decreasing higher doses deprived i.p.). A combination subthreshold 23390 09151-2 resulted significant reduction In nondeprived eating palatable animals trained an schedule reinforcement, YM09151-2 exerted suppressant effects. results suggest response is more sensitive antagonism consummatory response. findings also specific inhibitory role (and not D1) receptors intake, since did produce increases any tested. This provides evidence under some circumstances blockade are dissociable.
