摘要: Background and Objectives Several studies have reported controversial results about clinicopathological features prognoses in gastric cancer patients with respect to age, partly due variable definitions of young age inhomogeneity the patient population. The aim study was analyze prognostic value all stages a large consecutive series. Methods Between 2000 2005, 3,362 were enrolled database. Patients divided into three groups: group 1 (≤45), 2 (46–70), 3 (≥71). Results Upper location linitis plastica more frequent 1. Young had higher proportion poorly differentiated signet ring cell type elevated CA19-9 level. Depressed early (EGC) while Bormann IV Lauren diffuse common AGC In curatively resected patients, 5-year survival rate significantly than older groups. Stage, vein invasion, curative resection, level significant factors cancer. Conclusions Clinicopathological associated include upper location, plastica, histopathologically type, unresectability. J.
