摘要: Methods: Between 1998 and 2006, 1,815 GC patients undergoing resection were enrolled in a prospective database. The findings for 115 (6.0%) aged 40 years or younger compared with those of 1,009 between 56 75 old. Results: group young included significantly more women than the old (60.0% vs. 37.0%, respectively); also had T4 lesions (73.9% 61.6%), undifferentiated tumors (85.2% 55.1%), severe desmoplasia (41.4% 12.2%), Lauren’s diffuse-type cancers (55.6% 27.7%), perineural invasion (69.1% 46.1%). Survival rates at 3, 5, 10 after 56.8%, 52.0%, 42.1%, respectively, similar to older (P ¼ 0.411). Unfavorable independent prognostic factors degree nodal involvement (N3 N0; P 0.001), advanced T status (T3–4 T1–2; 0.015), tumor size (>4 4 cm; 0.019), margins (positive negative; 0.044). Conclusions: tends exhibit aggressive behavior patients; however, surgical survival was similar. Advanced (N3) is most important factor young. J. Surg.
